Tissington Methodist Chapel
Welcome to the website for Tissington Methodist Chapel,
we are part of the Ashbourne Methodist Circuit
We are a small Methodist chapel situated in the beautiful Peak District village of Tissington, famous for its Well Dressings. The current building dates from 1955 but there has been a chapel on this site since 1866. In August 2016 we celebrated our 150th anniversary.
Our services are held every third Sunday of the month at 10.30 am except for Christmas and special services. Everyone is welcome so please come and join us.
The chapel is also available for weddings, we can hold up to 70 persons. Please contact our Minister for further details. The Chapel can also be used for group meetings, displays etc, the Chapel has a small kitchen and disabled toilet, please contact us for more information.
Our Chapel is always open so if you are in the area please come and visit, we are sure you will enjoy the peace and tranquility of our Chapel.
Everyone is welcome to join us for worship which is usually on the 3rd Sunday of the month, but please check the dates above as occasionally service times vary particularly at Christmas or Harvest.
